Grace
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:21
Our righteousness is a gift received through Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches that our righteousness is not something we earn. Jesus became sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Because of His finished work on the cross, believers stand before God fully accepted. We do not strive to earn His love; we live from the security of already being loved. As we grow in our faith, our lives naturally begin to reflect the grace we have received.
2 Corinthians 5:21
Take a moment to read this passage slowly. Rather than rushing through it, spend some time thinking about what God may be reminding you of through His Word today.
Your standing with God does not depend on your ability to be good enough. Through Christ, you have received a righteousness you could never earn for yourself.
Lord Jesus, thank You for becoming my righteousness. Help me rest in what You have already accomplished and live each day from that place of grace. Amen.
