Rest
Scripture: Hebrews 4:9-10
True rest is found in trusting what Christ has already accomplished.
Many people spend their lives trying to prove themselves worthy before God. Scripture teaches something completely different. Jesus finished the work that we never could. Our confidence is found in Him, not in ourselves. As we trust His finished work, our hearts find true rest and our lives become a response of gratitude rather than striving.

Take a moment to read this passage slowly. Rather than rushing through it, spend some time thinking about what God may be reminding you of through His Word today.
You do not have to earn what Christ has already accomplished for you. True rest begins when you stop striving for God's acceptance and trust in the finished work of Jesus.
Father, teach me to rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Let my life be a response to Your grace instead of an attempt to earn it. Amen.
